Agung Podomoro Land Partners with Shimizu Corporation Indonesia to Expand Property Development

PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) has formed a strategic partnership with leading construction firm Shimizu Corporation Indonesia to accelerate the growth of the national property sector—one of the key drivers of Indonesia’s economic development. The collaboration was officially marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday, July 7, 2025.

The MoU was signed by Agung Podomoro Founder Trihatma Kusuma Haliman and Haruhiko Washimi, Managing Executive Officer of Investment & Development at Shimizu Corporation. The ceremony took place at Podomoro Park Bandung, one of Agung Podomoro’s flagship developments.

Through this partnership, Agung Podomoro and Shimizu Corporation will collaborate to tap into the vast potential of Indonesia’s property market across multiple regions. As a globally recognized construction company with decades of experience, Shimizu is expected to bring world-class building standards to Agung Podomoro's projects.

The initial phase of the collaboration will focus on Podomoro Park Bandung, chosen for its large land bank and consistently growing market demand. Over the years, the area has evolved into a prestigious landmark in Bandung Regency.

As part of the development, Agung Podomoro and Shimizu will introduce residential products infused with iconic Japanese cultural elements—an innovation that resonates with modern lifestyle trends among younger generations. This initiative further strengthens Podomoro Park Bandung’s position as a premium residential area offering both value and comfort.

Podomoro Park Bandung is a master-planned residential community featuring various clusters and housing types, each designed with distinctive character and comfort. Launched in 2019, the development spans 130 hectares and aims to build around 3,500 housing units. To date, approximately 2,000 homes have already been sold.

Beyond Podomoro Park Bandung, the APLN-Shimizu collaboration is open to other Agung Podomoro projects in the future. This partnership is part of Agung Podomoro’s broader commitment to accelerating national property development and delivering added value to homebuyers.
